May 12, 2007 -- RESTAURATEUR-to-the-stars Nello Balan says he was beaten senseless at nightclub-for-the-stars Bungalow 8. The Nello's owner charges in a lawsuit that he was "struck, abused, harassed, assaulted and battered" by security guards at the West 27th Street hot spot, and wants the club and owner Amy Sacco to pay for his "severe and permanent" injuries. "He's very upset," said Balan's lawyer, Michael Schlesinger. Sacco didn't return a call for comment. The suit says the unprovoked beating took place last May, after an unidentified manager pushed Balan's 21-year-old daughter. "He [Balan] said, 'Why are you pushing [her]?' and the next thing he knew a bouncer came over and punched him in the eye," Schlesinger said. Then another bouncer allegedly wacked him in the head "with a metal object which cut his head open." The bloodied Balan needed 10 stitches and the orbit of his eye was also fractured, leaving him with "floaters" that obstruct his vision, Schlesinger said. He added nobody from the club ever apologized.

I noticed that alot of food media outlets are fond of equating this website to a loony bin. Looks like the loonies are breaking free! Soon there will be Anarchy! Chaos! Blood in the streets!

You prob won't have to wait that long. Pretty soon all the mags and newspapers will go under and the those outlets won't have jobs anymore.
