It will prob do well in Korea 'cos they love anyhting that's western. The problem is that they have to change alot of it to suit Korean tastes so it's usually not as good, also they add alot of sugar and the water and milk are not the same as here. But they do pay alot of money for western food.
That's usually a big prob in lots of areas, not just Korea. Sometimes even to go to another city or state in the US can be hard, esp if your used to the quality of products and labor that so ready available here in NY. I go to Mangia on 57th alot and the quality is top-notch while they still maintain speed and conveneience, but that might be alot harder in another country. I def see your point about the sugar and water, haven't been to Korea but in Japan it's the same. They put sugar in the spaghetti sauce! And all the 'western' desserts they make look great but taste awful.
