they wouldn't have to go thru all of that if they just got doormen that weren't such assholes. normally i go out with people that know them so it's fine, but i have seen angelo/johnny/bin be such dicks to pretty cool people for no reason while they let in their own friends like chris wilson that are such losers. and they basically will let in anyone that tips them, so the idea of being exclusive is total BS, they are only looking out for their own pockets.

"War Games style" ?? Seriously? That's hott.

Anyhoo, that's pretty funny. I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly, this kind of stuffs has Danny Kane written alls over it.
I remember waaaaay back in the day, I used to get funky Danny Kane invitations all the time-- some of them were kinda neat I guess. Like, I recall there was one that was a little wax candle (like the ones usually handed out for vigils) and it had the party details printed all over it. It was pretty hard to read, but it was still a cute idea!

Unfortunately, I think I can arguably attest the "select group of influential individuals who have been chosen by the Gates because of their shared vision and potential to contribute distinctive styles and personalities to this unique destination" might have kind of a hard time with this.
I mean-- for example, I'm an avid interweb surfer, vastly experienced and highly proficient in communicative technologies, with a keen propensity for digital personal interfacing--

and even I couldn't be dicked to absorb half that rigmarole.

I'm just sayin.

Oh P.S.
In case Rod Surut (and/or Danny Kane) happen to be reading this: Lisa Lynch and Robert "BahBAY" Muñoz both say, "Sup, nizzles?!"

I would think they'd probably want to pop in to say "hi" and "congrats" or whatever themselves-- but I guess they'd have to go searching for an Ambassador first.

I don't know, Abbsterpiece - you might be overlooking the words 'shared vision'. If you were in your 20's, and single, and had no job, and suffer from delusions of grandeur, and lived in an outer-borough, and were desperate to get drunk and high with a group of like-minded individuals that 'share the same vision' under the guise of elitism, and had nothing better to do and nowhere better to go, you could probably be dicked to absorb all the rigmarole after all.

LOL.
